Atlanta/Southeast MSTS Group visits the
Sam's Shortline - Cordele, Georgia
This trip took us from Cordele, through Plains, and on to Jimmy Carter's boyhood home. Not that I'm fond of Carter but the old buildings were a nice treat.
There's not a whoile lot of information about the origins of this line on their web site and I don't recall a lot about it, but it was a nice trip all-in-all.
